Renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam, who is currently anticipating the release of his film Thug Life, revealed the first look of the Malayalam film Chinna Chinna Aasai on Monday, May 19. The film stars veteran actors Madhoo and Indrans in the lead roles.

The first look image shows the duo seated on a terrace bench in Varanasi, where the movie has been entirely shot.

The film’s title draws inspiration from the iconic song “Chinna Chinna Aasai” from Mani Ratnam’s classic 1992 film Roja, which also marked a major career moment for actress Madhoo. Fittingly, the upcoming film is said to be inspired by the essence and emotion of the original song.
